Great book depicting the life of St. Louise de Marillac. I found the first half of the book very captivating. As it continues, the details of the life of St. Louise tends to fade into the background and the narrative becomes more about the Daughters of Charity and her work with St. Vincent DePaul - which is not NOT interesting; it is just a bit dry and lacks the excitement that I imagine could /5.
